Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla, in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA), has extended government support to families affected by recent storms at Nkamanzi, under the Endzingeni Constituency in the Hhohho Region.
The DPM handed over roofing materials to three homesteads whose houses were damaged during the storm. The assistance is part of government’s ongoing commitment to support vulnerable households affected by natural disasters and to help them rebuild their lives with dignity.
Speaking during the handover, the DPM emphasized government’s responsibility to ensure that no citizen is left stranded following such disasters, highlighting the importance of swift response and community resilience.
The NDMA encouraged affected communities to continue working closely with local leadership and relevant authorities to ensure that incidents are reported promptly for timely intervention.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the assistance, noting that the support will go a long way in restoring safety and stability to their homes.
