Eswatini recycles only about 5 percent of the waste produced in the country locally. Richard Mamba
from the Institute of Waste Management Eswatini calls for the need for concerted coordination efforts
from local recyclers to take the figure to 40 percent in the next 5 years.

He has been speaking at the launch of the Eswatini Waste Recycling Bonanza to be held at Ngwenya
Glass on the 24th and 25th March 2023 launched by the Minister for Tourism and Environmental Affairs
Moses Vilakati who was represented by the Under Secretary in the Ministry Zwakele Dlamini.
