Bongani Bobo Dlamini, also known as Mshina, is a talented and qualified communication specialist and radio host with well over 10 years in the print and broadcast media space.
Currently the curator of the informative and entertaining Breakfast Show in the English Service of Radio Eswatini (EBIS 2FM), BOBO, as he is affectionately known, is a seasoned media professional with an outgoing personality and a distinct voice for radio.
Known as the host of the Breakfast Show on EBIS 2 FM, and arguably the Kingdom’s flagship musical radio show the Eswatini Top 20 Chart Show, which he compiles and co-hosts with media consultant Bongani DJ Tizalami Dube, Bobo has come a long way.
He hails from the rural community of Sidwashini, under Emvembili chiefdom in the northern Hhohho region, where he grew up and attended his primary and high school education at Sidwashini Methodist Primary, and Mswati II High School respectively, after which he enrolled at the University of Eswatini, then known as the University of Swaziland, in 2003. He graduated with a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication, Broadcasting major in 2006.
He later re-enrolled for his BA Degree in the same field and completed in 2020. He is also a writer, and an avid reader, collector and critic of books and music, and a very active member of the arts and culture movement in Eswatini.
