His Majesty King Mswati III has called on Eswatini’s education sector to play a central role in advancing the country’s aspiration of becoming a First World nation.

His Majesty made the remarks while speaking at Ngwane Teachers Training College, where he highlighted the importance of education in shaping the country’s future and driving national development.

The King emphasised that teachers and educational institutions have a critical responsibility in equipping learners with the knowledge, skills and values required to contribute meaningfully to Eswatini’s socio-economic development.

He encouraged the education sector to ensure that the country produces skilled, innovative and capable citizens who can respond to emerging challenges and take advantage of opportunities presented by a rapidly changing world.
